Since the peak of the cathedral ceiling is not centered exactly over the doors, I was forced to cut my drawing apart and adjust the position of the elements. I centered the balcony railing over the doors below, while moving the painted doors to the left to center them under the peak. The railing matches that of the staircase in the main mural by the bathtub. The painter who was handling the faux finish layed in a dark shadowed wall behind the railings before I began painting.
