Providing a Pencil Sketch
After looking through all the rolls of film and discussing them together, Deb thought that she had decided on one pose that most closely gave her all the things that she was after. But she still wasn't convinced of how it would look to scale. I also proposed cropping the photo and altering the trellis design. For these reasons I produced a rough drawing and enlarged it, first to 18 inches square, then to 20 inches square (a square design worked best for this composition and for the space in which it was to be hung).
