Blue Closeup
Here you can see the figures more closely after they have been painted in blue. I painted the figures in more detail than the background, allowing them to come forward spacially through this perspective tool. Because I wanted a soft, romantic feel to the painting, the figures themselves are kept soft edged, thus necessitating a very simple approach to the background to create the spacial effect desired. More detail will be added everywhere as the colors are applied.
