Once the large, middle-value shadows had been cast across the torso, Huihan picked up a smaller brush to build the highlights along folds of the cloth.
With a detail brush, the darkest cast shadows were placed under the collar and where the far arm met the torso.
Working from left to right across the figure, he finished the shirt by finding the form of folds on the nearest arm of the model, and delineating their lit planes.
