WORKING STYLES INCLUDE:

1.) REALISM
This work is done primarily in oils, though I have also done work in watercolor and acrylic.

a) History Paintings - Generally focus on the human story, but may also focus on architecture, costuming, and instruments of daily life, as well as purely decorative elements for page design.

b) Romantic Realism - May include women and children, family, nostalgia, or fantastic and heroic themes.

c) Portraiture - Realistically rendered celebrity likenesses for entertainment and editorial applications.

2.) STYLIZED

a) Cartoon - Growing out of newspaper Features illustration, the predominant application is shown under "Comic Kids."

b) Caricature - Also from newspaper employment, Caricatures depict celebrities for papers' Features/Entertainment sections. However, they have also found their way into illustrations for general features articles where a humorous approach is desired.

3): MISC.

In a regional market, where versatility is encouraged, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of other styles and mediums, both realistic and stylized. Samples of these are shown in the Misc. section and can be produced for clients who may find them applicable.
